Ramona Marcel

Ramona Marcel or "Mona" as her friends, colleagues and customers know her, has been a part of the Rouses family for 24 years. Her current position is PLU clerk at Rouses #15 on St. Charles Street in Houma. 

Mona has enjoyed her tenure at Rouses. She began her career as a cashier at store #4, where she spent ten years before moving into her current position at the St. Charles Street store. A native of Bayou Blue in Houma, Mona enjoys riding her bike and boating with her family.

When asked why she loves working at Rouses, Mona replied, "I enjoy coming to work every day and I love seeing me 'family' here at Rouses. I remember the 'old days' when the company was much smaller and we had all-day employee picnics. Those were awesome! Remembering those past events makes me realize how far we have come as a company, and makes me excited about where we are going." 

Store Director Russell Clement describes Mona as a very dilligent employee who focuses on even the smallest details of her position and is very knowledgeable.
