We are following the “pink slime” story with great interest, and following up with our beef suppliers to ensure that "Lean Finely Textured Beef" is not used in any products supplied to Rouses.  Because LFTB is not required to be labeled on products, we took our time and worked very hard to verify that all of our ground beef is free of any traces of LFTB.  We have stressed to our suppliers that Rouses will not accept any ground beef product with traces of LFTB.  We have completed our verification process and are pleased to report that all ground beef products found at your local Rouses are free of any traces of LFTB.
